What I Learned Over Spring Vacation: ESPN Is Tabloid Journalism

Now that Washington has acquired Donovan McNabb from the Eagles, it all but guarantees that the 'Skins will not take Jimmy Clausen, and more likely will select a left tackle of the future in the 2010 NFL Draft.

The trade of Donovan McNabb to Washington has caught the sports world by surprise, because well, ESPN was too busy gossiping about whether the Raiders would bite, and how crazy that they think Al Davis is.

Washington traded a 2nd round pick in 2010 and a conditional pick in 2011 for a rental player and has thus all but ditched the development of the younger Jason Campbell at quarterback. 

Had Al Davis made this same trade, the crows would all be iterating how absurd the trade is, and speculating on whether McNabb should just retire.
