Ted Ginn Jr. Traded: Dolphins Wide Receiver Heading To the San Francisco 49ers

The Miami Dolphins continued to make waves in NFL trade news on Friday, sending wide receiver Ted Ginn, Jr. to the San Francisco 49ers for what is said to be a "late-round pick" in the 2010 NFL Draft, according to NBC Sports.

Ginn, a former first-round pick by the Dolphins, never materialized into the star wideout the team envisioned when he was drafted.

A very dangerous return man, Ginn returned two kickoffs for touchdowns in the same game during the 2009 regular season.

This trade is no surprise, since the Dolphins just acquired receiver Brandon Marshall from the Denver Broncos only days ago.

Ginn was not Dolphins guru Bill Parcells' pick, so the former Ohio State star had trouble getting on the good side of both Parcells and coach Tony Sparano.
