The Los Angeles Dodgers Clayton Kershaw was locked up in an old-fashioned pitcher’s duel with Bronson Arroyo of the Cincinnati Reds, but the two worked to a stalemate and the game carried into 12 innings.
In the top of the 12th, Matt Kemp lifted a sacrifice fly to put the Dodgers (78-53) in front of the Reds (56-73) for good, 3-2.
