San Francisco Giants Continue To Frustrate Fans With Another Depressing Loss
The San Francisco Giants lost in Oakland last night to the A's by a score of 5-1. Jonathan Sanchez only went 5.1 innings and gave up four runs and three walks.
The winner, Trevor Cahill, pitched a great game against the weak offense of the Giants and only gave up one run in seven innings.
Sanchez is young and still has time to prove that he can be counted on but he has struggled too much this season. He needs to be sent to the bullpen to work on his off-speed pitches.
The Giants should bring up one of their pitchers from the minors to start in place of Sanchez and take over the fifth starter role.
Just like the Giants offense, Sanchez frustrates fans with his tendency to walk batters and give up hits at the most inopportune times.
