Randy Johnson Adds 300th Win in Already Great Career
Randy Johnson can now say he is a member of the one of the most exclusive clubs in Major League Baseball. The San Francisco Giants 5-1 win over the Washington Nationals has given the Big Unit the 300th win in his career. Johnson is the 24th pitcher to reach 300 wins in a career.
Johnson win over the Nationals is fitting since he broke into the big leagues with the Montreal Expos. The Expos would later move to Washington in essence giving Johnson a win over the team that started a career that has seen its fair share of high lights.
The highlights started when he was traded to the Seattle Mariners and he threw a no hitter against the Detroit Tigers in 1990. Johnson’s reputation for his fastball was well known. ...
