Oakland Athletics: Week Recap, Red Sox and Mariners Series Analysis

The A's finished a six game week with a 3-3 record.

That was a surprising twist, considering how the A's offense struggled against the Mariners on Thursday and Friday.

The first game of the two game series with the Red Sox began with a dominating eight innings from Brett Anderson. He allowed no runs, four hits and recorded eight strikeouts in eight innings. The A's offense struggled until the bottom of the eighth where they scored four times off of the Red Sox bullpen en route to a 5-0 victory.
