After the Lakers dropped another close game last night against a top NBA opponent, it has become more than apparent that L.A. has to make a move before the Feb. 24 trade deadline arrives.

With a 34-16 record, the Lakers have dropped to third place in the Western Conference and are reeling as of late. Phil Jackson's club is 5-5 in their last ten games and just 1-5 against the top five teams in the NBA this season.
