Steve Schilling to Chargers: 2011 NFL Draft Scouting Report

A four-year, consistent and durable left guard a Michigan, Stephen Schilling began his senior season as an Outland Trophy candidate and finished as an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention selection by both the coaches and media.

Schilling won hardware for the Hugh R. Rader, Jr. Award as the Wolverines best offensive lineman three-straight years.

As a freshman in 2007, Schilling started every game, earning freshman All-American honors. And as a statement toward his athleticism and diversity, the 6'4" 300-pounder made 11 of his 13 starts at the right tackle position and started the other two at his more natural position of guard.
