Fantasy Spin: The Michael Crabtree Saga

As of Aug. 31, 2009, all first-round draft picks from the 2009 NFL draft have been signed.

All but one sole player.

If you have read the headline of the article or have a fantasy draft coming up, then you know that player is Michael Crabtree.

We all know the general story. He wants to be paid like the No. 1 receiver in the draft (he was the best WR in the draft on pure talent alone, except on Al Davis’ draft board). San Francisco wants to pay him like the No. 10 pick in the draft (which he was).

Okay, so let’s put a dollar figure on this problem and see exactly how much more Crabtree and his agent want.
