San Francisco 49ers: Which Key Contributors Are Long-Term Solutions?

It's really easy for the Niner faithful to get wrapped up in the hoopla that is the 2011 San Francisco 49ers and their turnaround season.

And who can blame them? Nine years since the playoffs. Coaching failures from Mike Nolan to Mike Singletary and the like. And now, a proud franchise—termed the Team of the '80s—returning to prominence.

But let's take a short moment of pause as we enter Week 17 and close the chapter on this regular season.

For all of this season's success and improved performance of the Red and Gold—both as a team and individually at key positions—there is still some grey area as to whether long-term answers have been found that will allow the 49ers to climb to further heights following this season's playoff run.
