The 2012 San Francisco 49ers are playoff bound for the second straight season.

That doesn't necessarily mean that everyone from the Super Bowl contending Niners will be back.

Most of the Red and Gold have performed to expectations, and some even beyond them.

The latter group may have cast a light on those who may not have a roster spot reserved for them.

Players likely not to be in San Francisco after the 2012 campaign may have also underperformed to the point that their contractual value is not worth who might be swapped into their spot in free agency or the NFL Draft.
