Ryan Mathews Finally Living Up to Potential for Red Hot Chargers

San Diego Chargers running back Ryan Mathews, who's spent his entire NFL career as the poster boy for talented but maddeningly injury-prone players, has finally busted out. 

And how rewarding it must be for the former Fresno State star. 

Injuries kept Mathews out of four games as a rookie. In 2011, he missed only two games despite a multitude of tweaks, averaged 4.9 yards per carry and totaled more than 1,500 yards from scrimmage. 

But the injury bug migrated back last year...
