Relax, Chargers Fans: It’s Only Vicodin

Yeah, Chargers safety Kevin Ellison was arrested for possession of a controlled substance in Redondo Beach, California.

Yes, he posted $10,000 bail.

This is what the media sells as a hot story. They won't even tell you "who" in the opening title. You know the style: "Charger arrested with drug possession."  Wow, you click on it and fear the worst.  You don't even know which Charger it was. Curiosity is peaked.

Who was it? What did he have?

Kevin Ellison had some Vicodin.  Whippety Dee.  My daughter got some from her trip to the dentist.  She's seven years old and 50 pounds.

Vicodin is a mild painkiller. If a professional athlete has some in his possession, I couldn't care less. Guess what?  Neither do the author...
