If the San Francisco 49ers Draft a QB, It’s Not Luck or Locker—It’s Mallett

Blaine Spence goes into great depth about the San Francisco 49ers with his article on the 2011 draft and if Jake Locker or Andrew Luck would be a better fit for the 49ers. Though Locker and Luck are tremendous talents, neither are the right fit for the 49ers. 

For one, they both are athletic quarterbacks that can use their legs as well as their arms to keep defenses honest. Yet, six years ago the 49ers took Alex Smith as the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft for those same reasons.
