After an awful start to his Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was benched in favor of backup Blaine Gabbert.

Kaepernick was just 1-of-5 for four passing yards in the snowy game and was sacked five times. He also had six rushing attempts for 20 yards. The 49ers (1-10) trailed the Bears (2-9) 24-6 in the fourth quarter at the time of the quarterback switch.
