Vinny Del Negro Hired as Los Angeles Clippers’ Head Coach

According to Yahoo! Sports, the Los Angeles Clippers have reached an agreement with former Chicago Bulls head coach Vinny Del Negro to be the team's new head coach.

Del Negro's agent confirmed and the team stated there was a deal in principle.

After going 82-82 and making the postseason in both seasons with the Bulls, Del Negro was fired by the team in May. Del Negro and Dallas Mavericks assistant coach Dwane Casey were finalists for the job and had second interviews in Los Angeles on Monday.
