Steve Kerr Comments on Warriors’ Pursuit of Bulls’ Record, Resting Players

The Golden State Warriors (55-5) are on course to break the single-season win record set by the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls, but the head coach of the defending champions isn't going to risk the health of his players to make history. 

Speaking to reporters Thursday, Kerr said he will opt to rest players, if necessary, before the playoffs even if his team has a chance of winning 73 games and shattering a mark that has stood for 20 years. 

"Resting, that will take precedence," Kerr said, per Yahoo Sports' Bleacher Report - Golden State Warriors
