Medal Count for 2010 Olympics: USA Surges to the Lead
With Day 4 of the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver underway, and the first Monday, it is a good time to catch up and see where the medal count stands. Thirty medals in ten different events were handed out since Friday and the United States has taken early lead. We will find out over the next two weeks whether another country will bid to overcome the United States' lead, but for now the U.S., and its 216 athletes, is atop the list.
