Mark Jackson Has Been Named Head Coach for the Golden State Warriors

The Golden State Warriors have named their 24th head coach in franchise history earlier in the day, choosing the 17-year NBA veteran Mark Jackson.  Jackson was one of the most versatile point guards in NBA history, and has been a broadcaster for the past few seasons for ESPN, ABC and the YES Network.  Many have figured that Mark Jackson would eventually become a head coach in this league, but it was unknown exactly when that would be.  The time is now, and Jackson seems as if he will be a great fit for the rising franchise of Golden State.
