Donald T. Sterling and His Undying Empire

When you think of Los Angeles basketball, what comes to mind?  

The Lakers, of course.  

But recently, there has been a new soap opera brewing behind the glitz and glamour that is purple & gold. The drama involves the stepchild of the NBA, my beloved home team for almost 20 years, the patriotic, red, white, and blue of your very own Los Angeles Clippers.

Oh yes, I'm a die-hard fan of one of the most pathetic sport franchises in history.

So, what? Can't I dream of one day standing in the 200 levels of Staples Center, holding back my tears, as I cheer on my team as world champions?

I bet Billy Crystal wouldn't judge, nor would the other hand full of stubborn Clippers fans who will never give up on that dream.
