It was recently reported that Los Angeles Lakers reserve guard Shannon Brown has decided to opt out of the final year of his contract and enter into next year's free agency pool. The response from the team should be "peace, we wish you well."

Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Brown's athleticism and potential, but I'm also a realist.
