Golden State Warriors Are Tanking out of Confidence in Next Year’s Team

The Golden State Warriors may have a new GM in Bob Myers, but the old strategy remains: nose-dive towards the finish for that top-seven pick. Last night, after the Oracle throng chanted "Let's go Hornets!" rookie Chris Wright goal-tended Golden State into another valuable, valuable defeat. 

If Golden State finishes seventh-worst, they are likely to keep their lottery pick. If they finish eighth-worst, they are likely to lose that top-seven protected pick to the Utah Jazz.
