Did 2009 NBA Draft Affect David Lee’s 2010 Free Agency?

Hi everyone, first article, hope it wins a Pulitzer or two.

As the Warriors (5-2) prepare to tip off at New York in about 10 minutes, I tuned to the Jazz-Magic game for a basketball prelude. Before the studio turned coverage to the game, ESPN mentioned the Knicks-Warriors matchup and Lee's return, which I hadn't even thought of beforehand (I'm very distracted these days).

It got me thinking about the circumstances of Lee's arrival in the Bay Area, and the recent years of GSW-NYK relations. There was, of course, the Harrington-Crawford trade, and before that the Spreewell-Three Pieces of Penny Candy trade of the late '90s. However, what really got my mind's wheels a-spinnin' ...
