You Think the San Francisco Giants are Scary Now?

One of the surprising teams so far during the 2009 baseball season is the San Francisco Giants. Despite having an offense that doesn't feature any huge power hitters, the Giants are 50-43, just one game behind the Colorado Rockies for the National League Wild Card spot.


Offense:
The Giants don't have a very good offense, but it's usually good enough to win games. Bengie Molina is aging, but still one of the most productive catchers in all of baseball. He's having another good year in 2009, with 11 homers, 50 RBI, and a .264 batting average. Throughout his career, he has flown under the radar, and 2009 is no exception.
