Would the Return of Miguel Tejada Provide a Boost for the Oakland A’s Offense?

The Oakland A's currently sit seven and a half games out of first place in the American League West. Last year the A's signed Jason Giambi to a one year contract, hoping he could spell some time at first base and provide power from the designated hitter position. 

Giambi didn't work out very well at all for the A's and he was actually designated for assignment, only to be picked up by the Colorado Rockies last year. The question now is could this be the second year in a row that a former Athletic is brought in?
