Buster Posey Injury Could Land 2 New York Mets Stars on San Francisco Giants

The San Francisco Giants learned today that they'll most likely be without their MVP for the rest of the year. Buster Posey suffered a broken bone in his lower leg that requires surgery during a game against the Marlins on Wednesday.

This is a huge blow to a Giant team that has always struggled to score a lot runs. Just the loss of Posey's presence is a major blow to them.

Last year, Posey came up and hit .305/.357/.505/.862 (That would be BA/OBP/SLG/OPS in that order) in 443 plate appearances. He was the reason the Giants made the playoffs last year and won the World Series against Texas.
