San Francisco Giants: Will Injuries Sink Their 2012 NL Chances?

On May 26th, 2011, the collision at home plate that ended Buster Posey's season also prevented the Giants from having any real hope of reaching the division playoffs.  

One injury to one key player.  

And although GM Brian Sabean traded the Giants' finest pitching prospect (Zack Wheeler) to bring in hitter Carlos Beltran in July, the season could not be salvaged.  It was too little, too late.
