San Francisco Giants: Is Gary Brown Still Too Green?

The trade deadline is looming, and so far, Giants General Manager Brian Sabean hasn't been kicking the tires on any veteran slugger to aid his faltering offense.  

Last Wednesday, in the final game against the Padres, Manager Bruce Bochy featured a new, vegetarian card...there was no meat in that lineup whatsoever.  No Posey, no Sandoval, nada, and the not-shocking result was a Giants loss.

So maybe the solution is in the system.  Gary Brown was a first-round pick in 2010 and once he makes it up to the big show he may be contending for batting and stolen base titles.  Brown throughly destroyed the California League with a .336/.407/....
