San Diego Padres Sign Can-Am League’s Batting Leader

The Can-Am League announced on Thursday that the league's leading hitter, Bridger Hunt, has signed a minor league deal with the San Diego Padres.

This will be Hunt's second time in affiliated ball. He was drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the ninth round of the 2006 MLB June Amateur Draft out of the University of Central Missouri.
