Why Jason Giambi Should Be Left On the Oakland Athletics Bench

Jason Giambi has lost it at the plate, and it maybe time to put him on the bench for a couple of games. Giambi has struggled with his average, and it seems his patience at the plate is gone.

In tonight's game with the Chicago White Sox, Giambi did walk, but he also struck out three times. The first strike out was one of the worst times for him to strike out, when all he needed to do was pull the ball over to get Matt Holliday, who lead off the top of the fourth with a double, to third base.

Giambi wasn't able to do that, and Holliday was not able to advance past second base, which for a team that struggles to score runs, is definitely a disappointing circumstance.
