Oakland A’s Remain Close in AL West, Defeating Texas Rangers 5-4 in Extras
The Oakland A's let a 3-0 lead get away from them only to rally from a 4-3 deficit to force extra innings against the Texas Rangers on Thursday afternoon.
The A's took the lead in the 10th inning when Kila Ka'aihue singled in the eventual winning run on Thursday.
Oakland starter Brandon McCarthy did not factor in the decision as he pitched 5.1 innings allowing four earned runs while striking out four.
The victory for the A's keeps them in second place and four games behind the Rangers in the AL West.
The A's are showing that they are capable of playing with the elite teams and had a huge win against the best team in baseball....
