Los Angeles Dodgers Need to Nix “Don’t Stop Believin'”

It's the middle of the eighth inning, and the Dodgers lead the Cincinnati Reds 7-5.

It's been a good game, and fans need something to pump them up. You know, the way the Boston Red Sox use "Sweet Caroline" to pump their fans up.

Makes sense, I guess.

Hell, the Latin rock/rap band Ozomatli wrote and sang the song "Can't Stop the Blue (Go Dodgers!)" for the team. But do they use that one?

No.

Instead, this is what we've gotten since last season:

"Just a small town girl, living in a lonely world/She took the midnight train going anywhere/Just a city boy, born and raised in South Detroit/He took the midnight train going anywhere"

Really, Journey? "Don't Stop Believin'?"

That's the best the Dodgers can do?
