No Comeback Kid: Dodgers Fall to Phillies and Settle for Split Series

Ryan Howard, Carlos Ruiz, and Shane Victorino all homered to lead the Philadelphia Phillies over the Los Angeles Dodgers, 7-2, Sunday night at Dodger Stadium.

The Dodgers fell to 39-20 on the season as the Phillies are 33-22, which remain the top two records in baseball, respectively.

Phillies rookie Antonio Bastardo earned his second win of the season by going five innings with seven hits allowed and four strikeouts. Dodgers' starter Randy Wolf (3-2) was relieved in sixth after giving up a two-run home run by Ruiz and a solo home run by Victorino.
