Chicago White Sox Walk-Off Angels, Beckham Continues to be Dreamy

Scott Podsednik closed out a hard fought game for the White Sox with a walk-off base hit off Kevin Jepsen scoring Jayson Nix to win over the Los Angeles Angles. 

Nix was in a 1-2 hole before ripping a hanging slider from Jepsen to the gap with two outs and sliding into second ahead of the throw from Gary Matthews Jr.

Jose Contreras did not even last three innings, walking five, and throwing two wild pitches while giving up three runs off just one hit. 

The White Sox bullpen took the ball and went the rest of the way with D.J. Carrasco pitching four innings, Randy Williams pitching two-thirds of an inning, Tony Pena pitching one-third of an inning, and Matt Thornton picking up the win in one-and-one-third innings.
