Brett Anderson’s Great Performance Overshadowed by Bobby Abreu

Whatever Brett Anderson has been doing before starts he needs to continue. Maybe it is the extra rest that has allowed Anderson to pitch the way he has recently. It is the third straight start for Anderson that he has not allowed a run.

The streak began in Boston and has continued in Oakland, with a stop in Tampa Bay. Anderson pitched a two hit shutout in Boston. The A's went onto win that game 6-0.
