LA Angels’ Jered Weaver Exits Game vs. Yankees with Reported Back Injury

The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim watched as one of the best pitchers in baseball was forced to leave after just 12 pitches against the New York Yankees on Monday night.

Jered Weaver suffered an injury in the first inning and exited the game. Weaver left the mound shouting in frustration. Bobby Cassevah took over Weaver's game.

Many initially felt as though the injury was related to his leg as Weaver had difficulty putting weight on it, but it appears there is a problem with his lower back, according to Bleacher Report - Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim
